I recently got an ad for the perfect lipstick for every skin tone. I normally do not spend a lot of money on lipstick, but the reviews were great, so I bought two tubes. I received the lipstick and got several compliments anytime I wore the lipstick. I was excited because I have the hardest time finding lipstick. I then came across the video above. I took both shades of my expensive lipstick to the bathroom and held them up to my nipple. One shade was the same color as my nipple, and the other shade was slightly darker. This nipstick hack has been a game-changer for me.

A while back, my backyard gate was left open, and the dog got out. On day 7, I was searching for my dog in a heavily wooded area. Distraught and hopeless, I ran into a couple of hunters. They gave me a tip they use to find their hunting dogs when they lose them. Here is what they told me:

Find clothing that has been worn for at least a day. The longer, the better so the dog can pick up the scent.
Bring the article of clothing, a familiar toy, and a crate (if feasible) to the location the dog was last seen. Leave all items there. Leave a note to request the items not be removed.

When it comes to referrals, home service contractors (plumbers, electricians, ac repairmen, etc.) and doctors work the same. For example, if you went to your primary care doctor because you have an issue with your eye, your primary care doctor may refer you to an eye specialist. The same goes for home service contractors. If you call an ac repairman out and they recognize part of your issue is electrical, they will refer an electrician.

Here is something most people don’t know. Some home service contractors may treat referrals differently. They do this because if a client is referred to them, they want to provide as much value as possible so they keep receiving referrals.
Here is how I learned this. Recently I wanted to upgrade my ac unit. I met with 3 companies. They all did the same thing: Came out to my house, looked at my unit, and gave me a quote. Nothing special. One day I struck up a conversation with a man who I always see walking his dog. His name was Bill, and he owns a well-known plumbing company.
