What Every Homeowner In [geoip-city] Should Know
(But Most Don’t)

[geoip-city], [geoip-region]: There is something water heater companies don’t want homeowners to know. This is because if enough homeowners find out, the water heater companies would lose millions of dollars.
Brett recently got married and moved to [geoip-city]. Buying a house and getting married at the same time was a tad bit stressful according to Brett. However, here is what he had to say about the marriage experience.
“Whoever Created The Tradition of Not Seeing The Bride In The Wedding Dress
Beforehand Saved Countless Husbands Everywhere From Hours Of Dress Shopping
And Will Forever Be A Hero To All Men.”
-Brett B.
The tradition exists because in the past women were “traded” into a richer family by marriage. The guy was not allowed to see the bride because the poorer family didn’t want to risk him not liking her looks and backing out. That’s also the origin of why brides wear veils. Fortunately for Brett, he was well aware of how beautiful his wife was and how fortunate they were to have a home in Dynamic city.
However, there was one problem. Shortly after moving into their home, they started having plumbing issues. First, it took forever for them to get hot water when they showered. Then they would get an intermittent rotten egg smell when they ran their faucets. Brett’s wife was starting to get annoyed which meant there would not be peace until this was fixed.
Brett’s father-in-law was a very likable retired general contractor. One day Brett told his father-in-law about the plumbing issues. Brett’s father-in-law asked a simple question. “When was the last time you got your water heater serviced?” Brett looked at him like he had 2 heads.
“What do you mean” Brett replied. Brett’s father-in-law told him the delayed hot water rotten egg smell and may mean he needs his water heater serviced and her anode rods changed. Brett said, “What the hell is an anode rod?” Brett’s father-in-law said anode rods are like a filter for your water heater. They attract all the bad stuff so that it doesn’t corrode your water heater and get in your water system. He said they should be changed every 4 years. Brett’s water heater was over 15 years old and he was pretty sure it had never been serviced. Brett’s father-in-law called up a local contractor friend, got a list of the 3 best plumbing companies in Dynamic city, and then he gave the list to Brett. He told her to do his research on the plumbing companies, pick one and have them come service the water heater.
Brett was grateful for his father-in-law’s help but he did not have time to do plumbing research. After being gone for the wedding and honeymoon, he was swamped with work. However, Brett made some time and did his research. He picked XXXXX from XXXXX. Based on Brett’s research this company had the best reviews and was the most affordable. He called XXXXX, they came out the next day serviced her water heater, and replaced the anode rode at an affordable price.
